While I was pregnant with Trent and designing his nursery, I was reflecting on the baby items I had (and used) for those newborn days and nights with Chase and how I could keep things practical and minimalistic this time around (aka get less crap that we won’t actually use). I knew the three-tiered cart would be a must-have this time around, but I needed to fine tune what I thought I’d use.

I struggled with both nursing (Chase’s latch wasn’t great) as well as a low supply, so my expectations of nursing Trent were cautiously optimistic. Basically, I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed in one portable location if I wanted to pump or nurse in any room of the house

Since the nursery is close to both our bedroom and the living room, we didn’t include any diaper changing necessities, just items that I would need for nursing and pumping. Most of these items are all repeats from the cart I put together with Chase. I will note anything I HAVEN’T USED as full transparency since these photos were taken a couple weeks before Trent was born.
