tis the season for…

… making sure all your kids winter gear doesn’t get lost among the other kids’ stuff at daycare & school!

When I say I label everything that goes to school, I mean it. And sometimes some items get two labels because if I spend the money on it, I want to make sure it comes home with Chase!

Today I spent some time re-labeling all of Chase’s old coats, hats, and mittens with Trent’s new Name Bubbles clothing labels as well as some new-to-Trent items I’ve bought along the way. I chose a blue anchor design in the daycare pack that included the following:

• 40 Circle Clothing Labels
• 32 Small Rectangle Name Labels
• 15 Shape Name Labels
• 5 Rectangle Name Labels
• 4 Shoe Labels

Granted, Trent is home with me and not going to daycare but we have been attending more toddler activities at the library and other play groups so I don’t want to get any of his things mixed up with the other kids belongings.

This was a task I was eager to cross off my to do list but I have to admit that it took longer than expected - you wouldn’t believe the strength of the adhesive of the clothing labels! And please take into consideration the items that I struggled with most (mittens) were washed MOST OFTEN and survived the laundry multiple times through last winter (and possibly the winter before depending on how old the mittens are).

Can’t say I was mad about it! ;)

I’ve shared about my love for Name Bubbles before but that’s because I truly love the quality behind the brand. In the 2+ years I’ve been using these labels for both boys’ clothes and other items that go with Chase to school, I have never had to replace any of the labels. Not only have the hats and mittens withstood the constant washing and drying in the laundry, but jackets that have been washed weekly (or sometimes 2x a week) and the lunch containers and water bottles that are washed daily have shown nearly any wear and tear or the need to replace.

The backstory to me shopping around to find labels I wanted to use was super easy. I looked at other brands but ultimately, my sister did all the work years ago when she bought labels for her girls’ school supplies and landed on Name Bubbles. I instantly loved Name Bubbles because the website was user friendly, had a TON of design options, and a variety of label styles for all sorts of items. I especially liked that there are laundry safe labels for clothes as well as waterproof/dishwasher safe labels for anything else!

Whether your little one is into sports, dinos, things that go, flamingos, or cuddly animals (and legitimately everything in between), there is a style for anyone! I especially love their new marble and the mermaid scales patterns.

If you’re unsure which school label pack suits you best, the website is very user-friendly, whether from your phone or desktop. Before committing to a design, take the quiz to see what Name Bubbles suggests for you! (You can even snag a 20% off code for taking the quiz!)

I cannot recommend Name Bubbles enough and would highly suggest you give them a try, too!
