fall decor on a budget

If you’re anything like me, switching out the seasonal decorations gives you the warm fuzzies as you wrap up one holiday or season and move onto the next. I personally LOVE summer and everything about it, but fall is so special in its own way. The food, the cozy chunky blankets, the trips to the farm - I just love all of that. And putting on a hoodie for the first time after they’ve been tucked away in your closet for a couple months… not much better.

We won’t even get into the apple spice vs pumpkin spice debate (in this blog) but I will cover some great budget-friendly fall finds to spruce up your home for the autumn season.

Before I share the goods, I have one decor tip for you: store each season/holiday in its own box in your basement or attic and label each box. This makes it super easy to find what you need when it’s time to swap decor.

Bonus tip: if you have kiddos, store books that correlate to each season or holiday in the same box as the decor. For example, all of our Halloween/pumpkin books are in my fall storage containers and Christmas books with the Christmas decorations. This is a fun way to introduce “new” books with each change of the season!
